Items should be clean, safe, and ready to sell. Store staff make the final decision based on condition and current Mission needs.

Frequently asked questions
Do both stores accept the same donations?
No. Store 1 is the best fit for clothing and smaller household goods. Store 2 handles furniture and larger household items. Donation hours also differ by location.
Can the Mission pick up my furniture?
Store 2 schedules pickups Tuesday through Friday, generally for two or more large items in good condition. Service is first-come, first-served, and same-day pickup is generally unavailable. Please call Store 2 to schedule a donation pickup.
Is furniture delivery available?
Yes. Store 2 offers delivery in Dubuque and the Tri-State area. Dubuque delivery fees begin at $35 and vary by distance; ask store staff for current pricing.
Are all donated items automatically accepted?
No. Donations are accepted at the discretion of store staff based on item condition, safety, saleability, and current Mission needs.
