Every dollar makes a difference at the Mission. Donations make up 65% of our annual budget. We could not do this without you!

- Thrift store donations provide free items to people in need through our voucher program and are a fundraiser for our work.
Food Details
Food donations are accepted during the following hours. Please note that if a donation arrives during a mealtime, it will take longer for Kitchen Staff to assist with the donation while we prioritize serving the meal.
•7:00AM – 6:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
•7:00AM – 12:30PM Wednesday
Please ensure that all donated items are sealed, have been stored at safe temperatures, and have not passed their expiration date.

Retirement Distributions
Donations may be made to qualified charities out of your retirement account. Talk to your tax advisor about directing a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) or your annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) to the Dubuque Rescue Mission.
